General Terms and Conditions (GTC)

Effective date: April 17, 2025

These General Terms and Conditions (“GTC”) are governed by the laws of Hungary and applicable European Union legislation.

3. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

3.1 Governing law

The Service Provider operates the website and provides its services from Hungary.
The legal relationship between the Service Provider and the User shall be governed by Hungarian law, in compliance with applicable European Union regulations, including but not limited to:

  • Regulation (EU) 2018/302 on unjustified geo-blocking
  • Act V of 2013 on the Hungarian Civil Code
  • Act CLV of 1997 on Consumer Protection
  • Act CVIII of 2001 on Electronic Commerce
  • Government Decree 45/2014 (II.26.) on consumer contracts

3.2 Time references

All dates and time periods referred to in these GTC are understood to be in Central European Time (CET).

3.3 Working days

References to working days, public holidays and non-working days shall be understood according to Hungarian calendar rules.

4. Scope of the Contract

4.1 Subject matter

These GTC apply to:

  • The use of the website
  • The services provided through the website
  • The purchase of products offered in the webshop

4.2 Contracting parties

The contract is concluded between:

  • The Service Provider, and
  • The User, meaning any natural or legal person who visits the website or places an order and accepts these GTC as binding.

A consumer is defined as a natural person acting outside the scope of their trade, profession or business activity.

4.3 Validity

These GTC enter into force upon publication on the website and remain valid until revoked.

5. Nature of the Products

The ActionDoll webshop sells custom-made, personalised action figures.
All products are manufactured exclusively upon order, based on customer-provided photos and specifications.

6. Language and Form of the Contract

The language of the contract is Hungarian.

Contracts concluded through the webshop are not considered written contracts and are not stored by the Service Provider.

7. Ordering Process

After selecting a product and uploading the required personalised data (such as photo, clothing or facial features), the User places an order.

Once payment is completed, an order confirmation is sent and production begins.

8. Payment Methods

  • Bank card payment via Shopify Payments

9. Delivery

Products are made to order, therefore production time may vary depending on the product type and order volume.

  • Shipping time is added to production time
  • Estimated production times are displayed on the relevant product pages
  • Delivery time: 1–5 working days after dispatch
  • Delivery partners: Foxpost, GLS, MPL
  • Shipping fees are displayed at checkout

10. Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with Section 29 (1)(c) of Government Decree 45/2014 (II.26.), the right of withdrawal does not apply to personalised products made to the customer’s specifications.

11. Warranty and Defective Performance

In the event of a manufacturing defect, the User may request repair or replacement in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws.

Any defect must be reported within 2 working days of receiving the product.

These General Terms and Conditions enter into force on April 17, 2025 and remain valid until revoked.
